New Balance 997 CM997HDX
The 997H is a modern reinterpretation of New Balance’s classic 997, a silhouette designed by legendary designer Steven Smith. It swaps out the original’s C-CAP and ENCAP midsole for a lighter GCEVA foam that has been injected directly into the midsole instead of being layered like in most other shoes. This specific pack also updates the materials used on the sneaker’s upper, opting for a rugged Cordura fabric lining. The shoe is available in three colorways.

Outfitted for the trail, New Balance readies up its new batch of models with the arrival of the MSCRC, a hiking focused kit that gears to the T in every essential performance upgrade. The silhouette, though quite distinct from the Boston label’s many staples, takes the general shape of something like a 574 though with typical “N” logos completely removed for one of overarching webbing. Mesh base layers add a textural element to the hits of nubuck and synthetic with CORDURA fabric creating a more enduring overall construction. Sole units, which are imposing in its choice of ENCAP REVEAL hardware sees boot-like treads coupled with ADZORB as well as the classic VIBRAM make-up. Three colorways, which include a bright white, dark black, and neutral-leaning multicolor, add variety in typical NB fashion. Grab a detailed look at all three right below and find it rolling out to select retailers on September 6th.
The 997 Sport shoes for women are equipped with cushioning in the midsole with patented technologies ENCAP REVEALand ABZORB, to give you stability and cushioning on the sole of your foot.
